N37267 was at my local airport last saturday night and it looked splendid! It is a nice refresh of the livery.
I only say too bad there are no 727's on the UA fleet anymore. It would've looked smashing with this livery.

Boeing offered the airlines bigger variants: that's where the 767-400 (my favorite jetliner) came from. But the airlines wanted an all new design, and that's where the 777 came to be from. If it was a smoky Takeoff it most likeky was an old UA PW powered 772. I see them at EWR all rhe time and have noticed that the older PW 772's do smokier takeoffs than the UA GE powered ones and even BA's RR powered 772's. Would've loved to have seen 757#1 in person. It has to be quite a sight.

The 97 must have commonality with the 87 in the cockpit and save the airlines training time. I'm sure Boeing is thinking about that. I can almost bet that that's what they will do when it comes to the front office.

That air tahiti 87's livery reminds a bit of the thomsonfly livery. Very nice and wavy, it flatters
the round forms of the dreamliner.

That last illustration of the 797 posted here yesterday is how envisioned it from day one. Love the new nose on it. Thats the new face of Boeing. Hopefully the new 737 will also have it. For the new technology all they have to do is look back to the 787.

A 787 painted on the BOAC Comet style livery. The 787's round nose would look smashing and reminiscent of the Comet's own round nose.

The 747 4 engines make it a bit much for airlines used to the same performance with 2 engines. I think a 777-10x is now a possibility, with Airbus matching it with a new VLA twin, which I've named "A370."

I've also noticed KLM has been mum about any special liveries. I hope they surprise us. The next airline to turn 100 will be Avianca, in December. I wouldve wanted them to have their own retro jet with the 70's/ early 80's all red with white livery with the "AV" on the tail. Guess nothing ...

The downgrade of UA's A350 order back to the smaller variant and their recent small order of 77W's makes it very clear to me that they are aiming for the 777x. They had a good sized fleet of 744's so they are going to need big jets to replace them. 777x is a sure shot for UA, I say.

Wow everybody stepping up to the 9' ! I'd love to see AV fly a 777, even if it's a used one. Would also love them to have at least a 788 or 789 painted in their famous all red with the white "AV" on the tail old scheme. They will be 100 this year, along with KLM.

I work there and I'm also proud of EWR. The new Terminal 1 is coming up quickly and in the next few years the face of the new EWR will finally begin to emerge. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who feels this way. Interesting also that EWR is the oldest of the area's 3 major airports.

Wow, so it finally happened! Embraer was playing coy with Boeing for a moment last week. I had even read somewhere that their deal was off. But now that it has happened, I wonder if Boeing will rename the EMB jet.
