With Easyjet closing its base at STN would Wizz be interested in getting slots there? I mean, they can only expand so much at LTN and LGW and with orders of hundreds of Airbuses, they have to base them somewhere..Besides, FR has done it..

Jazeera flies KWI-LGW with a 320Neo, about 6hrs flight..I think a possible AUH-LGW/LTN could be done without payload restrictions,otherwise they will have to wait for LR version.. And since they are after LGW slots i believe it could be much more profitable to fly LGW than LTN..Apart from the LHR ro...

There is a large diaspora of Georgian people from Batumi and surrounding areas all over Europe..They could open a small base with 2 A320s..THY has had a separate Batumi route for years and it's been a goldmine on transfer pax..But maybe FR will beat W6 to it

In the last 3 days Turkey has reported more than 3300 new cases and Cyprus 0...It has nothing to do with political games..It's just that epidemiologically Turkey is still at its peak phase..Not very safe right now..Neither are UK,US,Russia and Ukraine..When things start going better i am sure bookin...

I dont know if it's positive but the fact that Turkey is open to US when they are their worst point epidemic-wise and Turkey itself isn't doing any better either cannot be good..it's like a mega-exchange of virus infections...i am worried that once autumn comes we are gonna see things get a lot wors...

According to some people who apparently know more info, Iberia will retire the A340-600 in July, not immediately. Just checked..Their A321neos 240 pax..Volaris packs 220 and Interjet is one of the most comfy airlines in the planet with a 34" seat-pitch in all their aircraft! (192 seats on the A321s)

now more like 29 is standard. 29" isn't the standard in the U.S. unless you accept Spirit and Frontier as setting the standard. U.S. carriers are required to disclose seat pitch and width by cabin. I think the tightest on legacy is 30" which pax found very tight on the back seats of the 7...

Jet2 has a very good and reputation, so a network from LGW would be possible if they get the slots with BA reducing..But do they want to, to expand to the 2nd biggest London airport and catch a share of the southwest area? I dont think they fear competition, going against EZY,after going against FR ...

I quess those will simply not resume flying when the limitations will be lifted (considering that the new bases are to start ín 4 weeks).
