Re: Why doesn’t AA fly widebodies on JFK-SFO/LAX

"AA’s A321t is a much nicer plane than anything else flying that route." Utterly subjective of course. I for one prefer UA's 757 or 787 currently on the trans con. You might be the first person I’ve ever heard say they prefer the UA 757, which hasn’t seen a dime of investment in the forwa...

Re: LOT News Thread - 2019

I can only speculate, but I think in case of BER, easyjet's low frequency meant that business travelers (are there any to BER?) may have preferred LO. Moreover, LO flew turboprops and easyjet A319 - and mind you, this is a 500 km segment. There is also competition from railways, with 3 or so daily ...

I think the routes to Germany can be easily covered by FR/LAUDA bases if indeed there is demand..As for London City, with TP gone, BA can add LIS/OPO to its route network and increase their dominance..The OPO-BCN/LYS is already covered by Easyjet,Vueling, Transavia France, so i dont think there will...

If they are going to order 787 or A350s to replace the A380s why not go for the bigger versions of 787-10 and/or A350-1000 instead of the smaller 787-9/A359s?

Two very interesting points on the 220 order. 1) They ordered more aircraft than the combined fleet of 318s and 319s. 2) They are planning to fit in a relatively tighter 149 seats. 150seats is not that tight considering its max pax capacity is 160...Are the 30 options only for the A223 or can AF co...
