Anyone know if there's a MAX8 flight scheduled in these validation flights? I thought (might have even read it here) that one of the later flights was to be operated with one of the MAX8s as a means to get them into ETOPS as well.

..it's a bag of 10 nuts... 10. It's served on our shorter segments along with a full service, by-hand (which most others don't offer) and on longer flights there's always a free snack or snackS from which to choose. I don't eat any of it, I bring my own.

jetBlue only recently unionized and are still working based on their old company imposed set of work rules, even they (and everyone else, including WN) had a magic number of hours past which they could throw in the towel and be removed from duy.... But all of the other combined operators haven’t experienced what WN has with their failures. UA and AF experienced similar failures on different engines. If those two airlines had multiple failures like WN I suspect many of those saying this isn’t a big deal for WN would be clamoring to draw safety...
