Truthfully I think this is going to result in a LOT of people leaving the armed forces... As for medical bills, we spend so much money on weapons systems of incredible complexity, taking care of a bunch of soldiers would be quite cheap in comparison. I didn't ask how hard it was to get out of the stall... I simply wanted to know what characteristics would have prevented the deep-stall characteristics from occurring?

I'm curious because there are other planes that can fly at very high alphas and can get themselves out of it

What characteristics would prevent a deep-stall characteristic like that from happening?

I mean the YF-17, F/A-18, F-14, Su-27, and F-22 don't have these problems and they can all pull extroardinarily high alphas...

What does the -1F mean? Was that the sixth subvariant of the F11F-1? Or did it mean something else?

I'm curious also as the pre-production F4H's were called F4H-1F, yet the production models were just F4H-1... You'd figure F4H-1 would come before F4H-1F...
