With A330s and A350s (maybe also ULR) ordered I could imagine EK streamlining their 777 order to 777-9 only and cancelling or converting their 35 777-8 ...

I don't think the wing itself is bent down - thats probably only the winglet that is made of composite materials ...That won't be a w/o.

I don't think so - LHs 330 aren't that old. For testing there are several old 330s available on second Hand market or parked in the desert.

Karl - you need to shoot through the concrete posts in any case - but it is much easier in 2-2,5m height. The 70-200mm is badly needed at this position - the 100-400 is much too long there. Do all have the problem that on some photo comments and in the Comment And Rating section the default image is shown as"flag" when the comment writer didn't choose a country? I have the problem with IE and Safari ...

I have an accepted picture which has not yet added to the database and is acutally not displayed in the Photographer's corner anymore. I also didn't get an upload mail.
Anybody with the same problem at the moment - perhaps the problem that is connected with the counter issue?

I bought a monopod for the combi 40D + 100-400 - but for spotting I normally don't use it - it's quite uncomfortable and bulky. Only during dusk and dawn it's quite usefull ....

In JPG it will be hard to correct the exposure problems - try to use RAW (if supported by your Cam) next time. You can do magical things in this format ...
