Re: United Fleet, Network, & Livery Thread - 2020

Next month I'm booked on IAH-FRA in J and seat map shows old J. At leats is 2-2-2 instead of 2-4-2. I have red reports that 36 out of UA's 51 772's are already retrofitted with Polaris. How comes that UA don't yet offer Polaris on hub-to-hub route like IAH-FRA when the majority of 772's have alread...

There are 5 789's being delivered first quarter. These will have Polaris. The first Mod ac 3968 should...

I’m a regular flyer out of IAH to NRT, LHR and FRA and noticed that on my future bookings, 1-Apr is the date where the GE777 seat maps all change from Diamond to Polaris. I guess they’re expecting all of the remaining GE fleet to have Polaris by that date. There are 11 completed with 4 in Mod. With...

Re: United Fleet, Network, & Livery Thread - 2020

At the end of 2020, UA will not have any widebody aircraft on order. It was an impressive expansion for sure. 96x777, 63x787 and 54 767's total: 213 Units. I would anticipate some additional incremental 787-9/10 orders. United's 77W fleet is about as large as it needs to be with the current weaknes...

that's a big difference vs. 48/50on the 772. Wouldn’t they only be swapped with the non-reconfigured 787-8s? Still a drop of 8 J seats, though the premium economy seats would soften the blow a bit. Either way, I wonder when they’ll start capping J sales to 28. The cap is already in place. Checked a...
