Re: Will Shopping Malls Becomes A Past In Airport Design?

I think these malls are a benefit to the control of a virus....the overpowering stench of hundreds of different perfumes etc being sampled probably neutralises covid-19. All passengers should be forced to walk through the haze...

Re: Coronavirus Refund Policies by Airline

Also, Jetstar (JQ) initially offered credit voucher for 2 domestic flights. Went on their online chat (took an hour to be connected) and have been authorised refunds. Their 14 days to process refund is nearly up, so ready to chase if not forthcoming.

Re: Would MAN-IAH work if UA operated the route instead of SQ?

Purely as an anecdotal aside...we have travelled BNE-SIN-MAN for the last 3 years and you get all sorts travelling on it. My favourite was a German family who were flying Bali-Singapore-Manchester-Houston-Orlando as it saved them a couple of $$ over anything more direct.

Re: Why are SAS operating flights to Stansted?

The London metropolitan area is massive, serving 14m people http://appsso.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/nui/show.do?dataset=met_pjanaggr3&lang=en As such, if you take the City of London and divide it like a clock, if you live in the 7 o'clock to 12 o'clock sector, LHR is great, 3 o'clock to 7 o'clock LG...

Re: Marmite run 2018. Kangaroo route 777 & 359

How could you still like Marmite after moving to the land of Vegemite? I was brought up on Marmite, but now I take Vegemite with me when I go to UK!!! Anyway, would really like to hear about the Delta standby pass. Always wanted to do this with Eastern or another airline. Would have been fantastic....

Marmite run 2018. Kangaroo route 777 & 359

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a long time lurker on this site, and really enjoy reading trip reports. I’m a UK citizen living in Australia for last 4 years. I will apologise now for no photos. My wife thinks I’m odd enough rocking up to Brisbane airport Acacia Avenue viewing area hours before c...

Re: What happens with international delayed checked baggage?

Long time lurker, first time poster. Emigrating from UK to Australia 4 years ago. MAN-LHR-KUL-BNE (BA/MH). Software malfunction in Heathrow transferring from T5-T4 delayed all our bags (and those of many others) by 5 days. Good job in hindsight as our hire car would never had had the space to get us...
