Re: Future of IAG post-pandemic

I expect about 10-12 747s to remain. BA has over 25 747s to retire all is a bit of a stretch. The high-Js are being replaced with the 77Ws. 4 expected this year with the first coming in August/September. With 8F/76J I think most routes will remain but major reduced frequencies. Don’t expect more th...

Then space out the 4's/22's so they they can operate simultaneously. ( if im not mistaken they have to be ...

They didn't clearly indicate whether the JFK-LHR revenue was purely from BA metal or does it include all AA/BA JV revenue on the route. I also found it interesting that half of the top 10 list are OW carriers. It seems likely that it is the combined figure for both BA and AA as the article refers t...

Re: The folding wings of the B777-9

And I've always heard that BA will not bring VLAs to JFK because they value frequency and premium seats so I'm not expecting to see BA 779's at JFK. BA doesn't bring VLAs to JFK (I assume you mean the A380), because their terminal can not accommodate them; as their isn't any Code F gates. The 779 f...

It was not intended as a gimmick but I think it might end up as one. The thing that will be interesting to find out for me is how often they will be folded. The main or sole purpose as pointed out above is so the 777X doesn't require special accommodations. However, can anyone think of many or any ...
