Per JonNYC, there’s rumors of a “funky” AA domestic route to be announced this week https://mobile.twitter.com/xJonNYC/status/1203793774645776385 Gonna have to say Phoenix/Los Angeles to Key West :stirthepot: Seems Dear Jon’s sources have dried up... Did you just cite yourself?
I heard it through the grapevine that Airbus Reps, legal counsel, Insurance Reps, and AA engineering reps were all on site today to address the airplane. I also heard MX compiled wilt an engineering order prior to the visit. If this is true, we could be looking a write off. I hope not. Definitely A...Jump to post

AA has or is purchasing more used A319s this time from AS. Trying to find out the numbers. AA is putting out bids to vendors for the interior mods. Hard to believe anyone would seriously suggest that CHC isn't pretty radical/novel. In fact, from the time I first posted the rumor, in August, not only did -I- not fully believe it (I even sat on it for a week as it made zero sense to me), but, have an inbox full of folks-- folks that actually kno...Jump to post

..I think I may have read somewhere, perhaps even way earlier in this thread but not sure...so can somebody explain why the 321neo's are delivered to/inducted in at PIT? Is it because of a LUS major Airbus MX base there? Of some note, some future 321Neos will be undergoing "final assembly"...Jump to post

DL - we'll see. If you are "definitely worried" you don't dump your last flight with lie-flats in favor of the standard 321s and have NO lie-flat flight on a "high premium demand" route. The 321T "trial" doesn't seem like a trial at all. It's for less than a month (Dec...Jump to post

AA's version just went up on AA.com as well.

DFW-FCO already starts in April, are they looking to start the season in early March instead? I had read rumors PHL-PRG is starting early as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think JonNYC said PHL-PRG will be upguaged to the A332? It already was this summer. Do you mean PHL-DBV? This I pos...Jump to post
Absolutely exceptional. And one can use their jet-card funds on commercial DL as well, with a dedicated (and beyond amazing) booking team, etc. This. Completely agree. Don’t members get automatic DL Diamond status? Yep. And for multiple years as well, since the contract bridges over 2 or even 3 cal...Jump to post
congratulations, you get the 'immature, irresponsible' post of the week award. I think several posts are in the running for that. I fly DPJ and and this incident wouldn't even enter into my mind-- not even in the slightest way. How is the customer experience? Absolutely exceptional. And one can use...Jump to post

By the end of September, all 8 319 Airbus from Frontier should be flying. 4 of them are currently flying if I'm not mistaken. 4 more to come. That is correct. The company just sent out a message regarding these aircraft 4 are already in service. The remaining 4 have the following expected delivery ...Jump to post

AA announcing PHL-CMN! It’s exciting! Needless to say, if people didn't already half-expect it by now (due exclusively to my reporting on it,) it would be an absolute BLOCKBUSTER. Over the many months, it became part of the background texture of things, having come a LONG way from when I first told...Jump to post
Is there a way the announcement can be pinned to the top of this thread so that we don't have to scroll through hundreds of speculation posts to find it? So many crocodile tears over this, don’t people know how to use “the internet”? http://news.aa.com/news/news-details/2019/American-Airlines-Incre...Jump to post

Out of interest, what's the source for this? Internal info?

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought LH was dropping EW's long haul division? Nope. They just let the mainline handle the MUC/FRA-operations and are heavily cutting back at DUS. I'm thinking the new Eurowings adds will include one in Canada. My guess: LAS and MCO/RSW from MUC and YYC and ANC from FRA. Combined with the already announced routes (FRA-LAS, FRA-MRU etc), this will be a Frontal Attack on Condor, at least from FRA. My guess is it's a plus for the site that you j...Jump to post

As per reply’s in other threads, Can’t say why I know, but the JFK’s are heading to T5. Unsure what BA will throw over to T3, but it’s happening. And sooner than you think. American is postponing the retirement of aircraft, while Southwest is both postponing retirements and cancelling destinations to mitigate the loss of the MAX.
