The tweet from JonNYC specifically mentions that its not a new route. Unless I missed something, all of the replies talking about new routes are on the wrong track. Manila is best served by filipino airlines, AA has no Business flying an ultra long haul low yield route. There are reasons United gave up those flights long ago soon after buying Pan Am's Asia division. Northwest flew there too, Delta gave up on Manila as well. Korean Air and others sell cheap sea...

This is actually wonderful news! You obviously haven’t been jerked around by Brazilian bureaucrats as I have. Place can be a inighmare in a private jet. Then, you get to be victim of various muggings or worse as my boss, two other pilots and a flight attendant were. GF For you, Florida might be good.

What’s anyone’s thought on adding any new flights to ANC, possibly a new summer seasonal flight to return to PHL or new flights to ORD or CLT. Not posted in OAG, but from what I see MIA goes from 2 daily LHR on AA to 1 daily for S19. At the same time BA has added an additional flight for 3 daily 747's for S19.
