This is devastating!!! My best flight of my life on United was HKG to SGN in F on the 747. I will always remember the crew, HKG based. Best crew I have ever had. So sad to see the friendly skies fall apart. United has been my favorite airline.

Why would AA want to merge with AS? Just gives them more planes and another hub they do not need. American does not need to be in every part of the country and SEA is being hit hard by the virus. International out of SEA (and others) will not come back for years.

I could see IAH being trimmed down quite a bit. Very little traffic to Latin America, a city built around oil, and too far south for U.S. connecting traffic. UA has never been historically strong in South America. Let AA and Delta have that traffic.

Just booked a walk up ticket on AS for 286 RDM-ANC. Never seen it that low to anchorage day of. It’s cheaper than the flight I booked 2 months ago. (I had to change) I got airfare to KOna and back for 250 to DEN! Economy plus was only 39 dollars for exit row. Got a few more amazing fares out of DEN.

Very sad to hear UA is going to shrink! It is surprising that UA management has no plan to enhance customer experience with COVID19 to get people back on their planes. I read yesterday that UA is making it harder to change flights during a schedule change. That is not a way to attract customers.
