Just found this in the Southwest Fleet/Network thread, but hopefully a good sign of strength of the WN SMF market: The PHX-SMF route was the 10th highest load factor route for the month of April 2020 of all routes in the WN network. SMF as a station had the 4th highest load factors of all WN stations.

Why not just hand out iPads in first class and main cabin extra? and then charge $10 to regular economy, add in free wifi with the rental and you got yourself a big money maker. No more under seat heavy electronics or seat back tv that get outdated in a couple years, just buy new ipads.

AA cuts SMF-LAX secondary to Compass Airlines folding. Also cutting SMF-ORD which is probably expected.
Starting may, AA will only serve DFW 2x daily, PHX 4x Weekly, and CLT 1x daily. Pretty surprised CLT wasn't chopped. All but bare bones for AA going forward.

just taking a look at April 10th from LGB, SMF/SJC/OAK is already gone SFO/SEA is down to 1x AUS/RNO/BOS/PDX still at 1x SLC down to 2x JFK/LAS still 2x so looks like LGB just lost 3 more flights for April. My guess is a lot of the cuts are going to be the Latin American stuff since all the borders...
