United surpassed 40% market share at ORD, gaining a 40.32% share from November 2022-October 2023 (source: US Department of Transportation, transtats.bts.gov). American was #2 with a 23.18% share. The stats only go back 16 years, and this is the first time United’s share has passed 40% in that time....

I've noticed the increased presence of Air Wisconsin's CRJ-200s outside of strictly regional routes at ORD. AA has put them on STL, CVG, CLE, PIT, MSP, and other cities that regularly see/saw mainline service from ORD. Could anyone offer any insight on this?

Best: United, actually. I've gotten great service the past few times I've flown with them.

Worst: British Airways. Both flights delayed an hour and the Club World seat was dirty, plus screen not functioning well. At least they kept the drinks flowing on that flight (LHR-ORD).

To be fair to CUN they‘ve absolutely exploded as a destination over the past two decades. Going from under 10million to over 30 million pax in 20 years is a hell of a thing to cope with. The new T4 is nice, even if the airport as a whole is very chaotic and lines are long.

I was through STL this week after a long break from my nearly weekly trips last summer. The work on 12R/30L and associated taxiways seems to have slowed almost to a halt. What's going on? There are still plenty of Delta/Air France/KLM boarding gates with the old signs around. STL still has the ones with little dot matrix displays in addition to the digital airport signage.

Unique engine sounds, good seats, innovative IFE system with cool route map. I flew the A220-300 on STL-SLC in March of 21 (shortly after it debuted) and the screens were broken the entire flight, but that's entirely anecdotal and the aircraft was only a month old at that point.

Cancun. The arrivals line for 12R on some days in something to behold. Plus gate waits galore, lengthy baggage wait times, you name it. At least the T4 departures lounge is really nice. But this is what happens when 30m people use an airport that saw 10m not too long ago.
