That's possibly because of the 11pm - 7am curfew in much of Kazakhstan. Landing at 1am in Almaty is not going to be a good idea in the next few days

Kinda surprised my airline (Cape) didn't go for STL and BNA. Then again, they've got a decent shot at this one.Jump to post
I would venture to say braking need is determined by runway landing, taxiways available, and location of gates. In some situations, MDW, BUR, SNA, heavy(er) braking is expected upon landing. At my former hometown airport, LAS, WN would generally be assigned or try for exiting 26L via Alpha 5 or 6, ...Jump to post
Oh, subjective definitely. If it's a video, I like to watch it myself and come to my own conclusions, not have some sort of "rating" system imposed by the creator.Jump to post
Surprised BUR is so large for them. Did not expect near 80 flights there.
Echo others' thoughts about FLL. Honestly, it's similar to a large legacy outstation there now.
Any clue as to why AA 2369 (JFK-PHX) is diverting to DFW? Has the schedule changed? https://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL2369 Fuel stop. The last few days have seen larger-than-normal headwinds for westbound flights. Plenty of fuel stops being made all around the country. I've seen multiple trans...Jump to post
Their on-time rate on STL-MKL is uniquely horrible. 9 of their 13 flights in December so far on that route have been cancelled. And this isn't new, either. It's been consistently shoddy since the route started at the beginning of summer. I've been wondering for a few months when something would be d...Jump to post

Lycoming has had to do a lot of engine replacements on our current Tecnam fleet. I know one guy from Lycoming who's actually renting in St. Louis because he has to come out here so often. It's insane. Is it a specific problem with new technology developed for the engine? I mean you don't stay relev...Jump to post
Just like Southern Airways Express getting Chadron, NE EAS gig touting BE 350, yet seems Caravans are the usual plane. Bait and switch at it's best LOL. I don't know that it's intentional. They are reporting reliability issues with the planes, not being shy to mention it to the media. They've alrea...Jump to post

Oh yeah, I'd like to fly on those as well. Only problem is that Delta is often quite expensive. Well to be fair, you asked for F/J flights, none (with the exception of BA losing their minds for a couple of days) will be cheap. To make life easier, where are you leaving from and where do you want to...Jump to post
Wonder when mainline will come back to PHL on AA. I flew an A319 on the route in 2019. I know it's mostly TATL stuff through Philly (I flew PRG-PHL-STL) but, considering LGA is getting mainline for the first time in a few years, I'd love to see the City of Brotherly Love get some...love. (Oh, and sp...Jump to post

DL put out a press release stating that the JFK network in December will ramp up. https://news.delta.com/delta-fast-tracks-nyc-growth-8000-more-seats-daily To me, this is the big news out of that press release: And every Delta flight at JFK, LGA and EWR will now offer a First Class experience, due ...Jump to post

For the rest of the routes that are technically "p2p," DL has CVG-DEN/FLL/RSW/MCO/TPA/SFO/CDG/DFW/EWR/DCA, PDX-AMS/HND/ICN, etc. AA has a bunch of p2p routes out of AUS, BOS, and RDU, and CMH, IND, MCO, and TPA also have a fair share of them. AS has a few as well, though they're mainly re...Jump to post

Not quite sure I'd agree with Cape Air's statement the plane "exited the runway" as it doesn't sound like it was even ON the runway. More like a go around that failed. 402s are severely underpowered. Don't forget, Aaliyah died in a 402 in Marsh Harbour that was significantly overweight. T...Jump to post

Milwaukee Mitchell Field (MKE) has at least 1 Rotunda at the end of a terminal of gates. It seems to have adequate space, and there is some kind of coffee or food service in the center.
