Re: Switzerland Aviation - 2024

I've noticed EZS have based several Austrian registered A320s (EJU) in Switzerland, presumably as extra capacity for the winter season. They also seem to be operating routes totally outside of the EU (e.g. GVA-LGW). Does anyone know how this works- are they operated by EZS crews, and how are the Aus...

Re: 737s at Heathrow

Yes, the relative scarcity of 737s at LHR is noticeable, but essentially it's just because a significant number of full service carriers within narrowbody reach of LHR tend to go for A32Xs, and LCCs don't have large operations there. The UK in general is much more evenly-split between 737 and A32X,...

Interesting to see LHG show confidence in the A220 despite several issues with the type at Swiss - good to see that they're still happy with it on the whole. I wonder if another angle to the MAX order is having another type thrown into the mix and therefore greater bargaining leverage with the union...

Surely operating E190s out of Bergamo would be suicide? Not least because it's further away, but also because Ryanair will absolutely crush them if they start the same routes. That's assuming there won't be a joint agreement considering that they are essentially now competitors.
