Re: Tanzania the Ethiopian way Part 3: ET 787-9 in Y, JRO-ADD *VIDEO ONLY*

It's amazing how different the perceived experience can be on Ethiopian. I was just watching a vlog trip report on them and the voter was advocating avoiding them like the plague. Yet your experience was to all intents and purposes, a very good one.

(Apologies - my quote function will not work!) Things at SAA probably would still be very red financially if they ordered 777 instead of A340's, but would they be as red ? Look at how many airline ordered A340 and then went to the 777, Air Canada and Singapore Airlines oh and Cathay Pacific too. Thi...

I for one will be sad to see the A330 go. So much more enjoyable from an economy passenger point of view (2-4-2) over the B777 (3-4-3)

They may not be FA's, but they are still part of the rostered flight crew, licenced or not. What stops Emirates from just issuing them with a 'shower crew' special licence?

France and South Africa aren't exactly big trading partners. South Africa has also a reputation of being an unsafe country, and it's very far, so tourism has to be limited.
