Looks like the 737-900 is in place through the end of February when it reverts back to an A319 with a 6 AM departure in March.

Re: The Rest of New England Aviation Thread (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2020

It appears that American Airlines is really stepping up their service between PWM and PHL starting on November 4th. There will be 6 daily departures from Portland with 2 mainline (A319) aircraft at 5:30AM and 5:55PM and the flights continue beyond February so it's not a holiday push. Mainline servic...

Re: The Rest of New England Aviation Thread (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2020

I agree. MKE to MIA is just a little shy of the distance between PWM and MIA which is also utilizing the EMB 175. Elite Airways has used the CRJ 200 between PWM and Melbourne and now Vero Beach for a while now and that has to be an even more uncomfortable flight due to it's smaller size.

Any new market during the pandemic is a positive and Miami has been on PWM's wish list for some time. Would have preferred mainline service similar to the DFW flights but I'll take it and I hope it's successful.

BTV's needs to review the headings on their site unless I'm missing something. Comparing September 2019 with September 2019 must be a typo? So do you think MHT will end up with around 1.7 million total passengers to BTV's potential 1.4 million for 2019? The gap is definitely shrinking between the two.

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2019

^ Thanks, and all accomplished with only three primary runways at different headings unlike ATL with 5 major runways all perfectly aligned east/west. Must be an air controller's nightmare working in Boston, especially keeping track of all of the taxiways and aprons during winter operations.

Nice research uconn, didn't realize the gap between BDL and PVD was that large. Am also surprised that PVD only had 9 more departures than PWM. BOS must be off the charts and I would guess over 400 mainline flights daily.
