Another company on McCarran, Carco Aviation operated many different aircraft types for the DOD and DOE to LVK, ABQ and NTS. They had F-27s and G-1s along with Martins, DC-3s and other A/C types. They were located on the west side of McCarran.

I think Crownvic is onto something! I see a taxiway out to 25 and what’s looks to be a hanger. Maybe it was DOE or Test Site related? It definitely looks like some kind of aircraft ops went on there. I worked at McCarran 80s - 90s and don’t remember any hangers on that side of airport. Nothing like a hanger was standing in that area when they built the parallel runway 25L/7R. SLC CBP has enough staff for the Delta scheduled flights. So they have manpower from 11:00-21:00. I could never get them to clear our Biz Jet, and had to stop in Tucson if coming out of Mexico or Great Falls if coming south from Canada. I have pics of the 787 but are unable to upload, Anet is not letting me upload for some reason? A 777 just touched around 12:30 local time, nonstop from Africa. The 787 had to stop at IAD last night as CBP is next to impossible to get after hours at SLC.

I’ve put several NCAA basketball teams on 3-4 biz jets departing at the same time. Everything from a G550 to a Beechjet. Hard to follow the patterns of rich people travel using a couple aircraft.

Charter Airline Allegro operated MD-80s for a short time around 1999, guessing it was a Mexico charter program? Aeromexico operated MD-87's to SLC, I don't remember ever seeing an AMX MD-80 here. I've been around and worked at SLC Airport since the early 90s.

Add N612DT and N171PA to the active G-1 list. Both flew this week. Thanks. Phoenix air doesn’t list them anywhere on their website... N171PA is supporting a Naval contract out of San Diego. G-III N15HE based at Provo, UT operated by Mira Vista Aviation out of Van Nuys is still going strong. Head out to California City, CA if you want to see about 20 GII and GIII types being parted out.

We put nine pax, single pilot on our PC-12. It’s not comfortable but easily done with the aircraft in the right seating configuration.

I can’t find a much on Uber Helicopter service. As for bags Blade has a service that will transport your luggage over 20lbs by ground. Of course this service is expensive. I was lucky and flew New York Airways in 1977 JFK-PAA building-JFK. Trying Blade next week JFK-W 30St Pier.

From what I can tell this King Air was on Planemasters certificate a Part 91/135 a Chicago based management and charter company. The aircraft was taken off Planemasters website this afternoon. Hard to tell if this was a 91 owner flight or a 135 charter flight, who knows who the passengers were? RIP ...

Appears to have been a Part 91 flight. Couldn’t find the aircraft on any aviation booking platforms. Charters customers these days want aircraft 10 years or newer and free WiFi.

SLC is a big draw for skiing, outdoor adventure sports and is now called Silicon Slopes due the rise in local tech companies. Help is so much cheaper in SLC vs California. Delta does very well with SLC!

Boutique or Surf Air to the Bay Area and the LA Basin is the only hope for scheduled air service at TVL. No 139 or TSA required. The winter poises issues for consistent service at TVL. Not sure I would not fell comfy on a single engine turboprop in winter conditions around the Sierra's... QQ did run...
