I don't see them replacing the A330s soon-they are less than 10 years old. If they do we'll have to wait until the turnaround strategy is fully implemented after 2021. I don't think anyone is suggesting replacing the A330s anytime soon. The 5 A330-200s are between 7 and 9 years old, while the A330-...Jump to post
NAIROBI, July 23 (Reuters) - Kenya’s parliament voted on Tuesday to nationalise the country’s main airline Kenya Airways to save it from mounting debts. The loss-making airline, which is 48.9% government-owned and 7.8% held by Air France-KLM, has been struggling to return to profitability and growt...Jump to post
Avianca out of Bogotá? The longest sector they operate is BOG-MUC which is 2,000nm shorter than JNB-JFK. Again, you're comparing airlines/aircraft that are flying 5,000nm as their longest stage length compared to 7,000nm. That's a massive difference. Never mind that Johannesburg is dramatically hot...Jump to post

Let's assume worst case. In regular lease price topic, it's been assumed it costs around 1 m USD per month to lease A350. Let's assume A340-600 value is nil (I guess it would be a bit higher, but worst case, A359 would be probably a bit higher than 1m). Let me assume as well, that it's just the fue...Jump to post
