Re: Why did DL 122, BOS-EDI, just divert to PWM? (First DL 757 at PWM since 1996)

A look on FR24 shows it made a very quick descent and immediately landed about 15-20 minutes after turning to divert.

I could see Edinburgh getting upguaged from Philadelphia to a B767/787/A332 or made year round as it was Edinburghs best performing US route! I would love to see Dallas Fort Worth to Edinburgh too though, never going to happen that one.

MOL was saying in a podcast that UK airports are now at risk of losing aircraft and having their base closed completely, I heard Belfast Intl, Prestwick and Aberdeen will lose an aircraft or most routes and Edinburgh, Manchester and Bristol will lose aircraft.
Ill try to find the podcast if possible.

Re: Edinburgh Airport Thread - 2019

The reason maybe a B777-200 is because a B767-300 has a lot more premium seats to fill than a B757 so you would need a lot more people paying premium fares to justify a B767-300 or B767-400 but for a B777-200 you could use the high Y version. Although I would agree that a B767-300 is the better fit ...
