Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2019

Hey everyone. Any rumors or speculation about what the next move for BDL will be? I know the year has started off pretty strong with the addition of Frontier and to a lesser extent gaining service with Viaair. But what about any new destinations. I am so hoping for that direct flight to BDL from Sea...

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2019

Does anybody know if UA is bringing back the BDL/SFO route or when it will be available? I have looked around the second week of June on the United site and haven't seen anything yet? I don't remember hearing about the route being cut? Thanks.

Re: VC Announces BHM & PIT Focus Cities, Adds BDL, MEM

one positive...it looks like BDL-PIT could still be successful. Don't know why DL hasn't jumped in there like they did to CLE-BDL. I’m still not sure why DL even continues to fly CLE-BDL. A quick glance at this week, for example, shows a 38% load factor on its best day, and an average of more like ...

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN/BGR) - 2019

I think this is the first season in...ages (since the early 90s?) that DL has not run BDL-MCO in any capacity whatsoever, no even Saturday-only. Makes sense to have another carrier step in. Delta will be running mainline (717) Saturday only service on BDL/MCO starting March 2nd thru March 30th. The...

Re: New F9 MCO Announcements!

With this add from Frontier (4× weekly), BDL will now have up to 10 flights to MCO on a daily basis. I know New Englanders love Florida and the Orlando area but that seems like a lot of seats to one city, especially since Frontier has loaded an A321 into the system as making the aircraft for the fli...

Re: BDL - new airline announcement 12/18

Fares that are less than half of what those two charge, providing you are willing to travel with only a bag the size of a toaster and be stuck in a middle seat in the far back with no food or drinks, other than what you brought on (or shell out for anything above that). You might be surprised at th...

Re: BDL - new airline announcement 12/18

I'm all for F9 making this route work, but it seems like it was a lot of pomp and circumstance for nothing. Hopefully they add a few more routes like Aus and Rdu. Maybe even throw their hat into the ring and be the 5th carrier on BDL/MCO.

Re: BDL - new airline announcement 12/18

I poked around Frontier's Web Site and starting March 28th there is 3X weekly BDL-DEN available to book Any other F9 routes available out of BDL? Seems a little tacky for the Governor to show up just to announce 3x weekly service to a city that is already served by UA and WN on a daily basis. South...

Re: The Rest of New England (BDL/PVD/MHT/PWM/ORH/BTV/HVN) - 2018

What are the odds that this is the year (2019) that BDL finally lands a flight to Seattle on either AS or DL? Airport executive director Kevin Dillion seems to make it seem like the airport is pushing hard for it. Maybe a deal similar to what happened in PIT to lure AS there. BDL was my home airport...

Re: Lack of Cabin Service on Piedmont/American Eagle Flight

I was on an AA/PSA flight this fall on a CRJ900 from CLT to SAV, the flight left on time and it was clear the entire duration of the flight, however as soon as we were all seated the flight attendants announced there would be no cabin service due to the quick duration of the flight. On the return fl...

Basic Economy Center Seat Preference by airline.

I have flow on 4 crosscountry flights these past few months and have flown basic economy on both American and Delta. All of the times I have been placed in a center seat with either another passenger to the aisle or window. All 4 times either aisle seats or window seats have been open. Is it's the A...
