Another ex Flybe route taken up, so thats SOU,ABZ, EDI and EXT with hopefully subjet to Coronavirus LUX so that leaves BHD, IOM, JER and NQY as the main routes needed, CDG and AMS can be swallowed up by KLM and AF

Couple of answers 1. Air Arabia Maroc has closed the base so no flights to BHX/LGW either
2. Alitaila have put in for slots in recent years and now Flybe off Milan hopefully more likely

A couple of answers
1) No Eurowings only do DUS ex Manchester
2) Most of the TCX passengers were home by begining of October with just the dribs and drabs arriving upto 6th with many flights having less than 30 passengers

They don`t really mean a service will happen , it is just a possibility that it could as some point in the future however ORD to MAN is the one that is likely to happen

I have read some rubbish recently, UK airports are not depressed infact many are very prosperous i:e Manchester and Birmingham and Leeds etc. It has been stated so many times that the main target is LHR and MAN (which in my opinion MAN stands to gain the most due the expansion of the city in the bus...

Two Air Tanker A330 are on lease to Jet2 with I have heard the 3rd one next summer all the others are commited to RAF work also rumours that some of the TCX ones will head off to Jet2

Just to add the airline is profitable and another thing even winter schedules still showed health loads Dec 2018 was 21840 from EWR and 12085 from JFK with Jan 2019 which is probably the weakest month 17421 to EWR and 9472 to JFK, the United was still a B757 then but will be 767-400 all summer with ...

Why not it is a shared route with Brussels, at present Manchester is the minority airport as Brussels has operated for a number of years, as Manchester grows it will be split away from Brussels and we become the major airport, as things are at present Manchester was never going to get more than 40% ...

Probably the 2 weakest days as we are getting a mix and yes the MAX is the problem as they should have quite a few by now and most airlines are struggling to find replacements

First 2 maybe 3 due to handling agent 4th yes we know there will be a long walk at present, no worse than many other airports, took me over 40 minutes at CDG on an ordinary day to get to passport control.

Thanks Aisac for making it a bit clearer, as I see it the only people who were possibly going to support it were people who owned shares and would
sell the shares as soon as the deal went through once again putting the airline in a situation of no direction and no money

One of the big differences is Manchester gets a very wet snow not the powdery stuff you get in Scandinavia

User001 I agree snow gear last used last spring which was probably second time that winter and probably won`t be used again this winter
as this band of snow will not reach us as usual because the gulf stream keeps us warm

The snow we had yesterday was worse than 2018 "Beast from the East". When it snows in this area it tends to be a wet snow from West and clears very quickly or if it`s the East it most is dumped on Pennines and we get a dusting but yesterday it was clear and cold and the wether moved in and...
