Just go to https://www.flughafen-zuerich.ch/en/passengers/experience/experiences/spotter-information and activate the spotter mode. You will then see types, regs and even most non-commercial flights such as positioning flights and even general aviation flights. Thanks a lot! And many useful spottin...Jump to post
Just checked for an upcoming flight, and noticed Zurich airport website no longer provides aircraft type and registration for flights.
When did that change?
Only AMS and FRA are still providing this info to the public. Or am I missing some.
Average load factor of 50% is not bad taking into account the fact that travellers can only be Europeans/Canadians returning home and students starting college abroad. On CDG-YUL sector on an A321neo with 2 flights per week that's about 200 people. AF and AC are there too. Somehow I'm still wonderin...Jump to post
When is FedEx supposed to receive its first SkyCourier ?
It will look even better painted.
Really like that Beechcraft's pointy nose.
Question is in the title.
What are your thoughts about it?
Hi all, On another famous airlines pictures site, there's a pic of a 738 registered TF-KEX with Icelandair titles. Flightradar24 tells me this plane flies to Scandinavia since the beginning of April. Was this lease planned to cover for the max? I bet FI is using this plane to Europe as the pax volum...Jump to post

Tarom has updated their livery as seen on one of their new ATR 72. They've adopted the current trend of QF, LH, EI, A3 and an oversized logo. I do like the silver details on the bird and circles. The beige part looks weird though, should be silver as well. https://twitter.com/airplusnews/status/1229...Jump to post
DID YOU DESIGN IT? You know that you’ve got the gift? Overall it works. And overall it’s great given the old The truth is BAD design can be effective. And great design can be ineffective! The hard part is achieving both! The very FIRST thing is what the client asks for! For example there are a few ...Jump to post
I saw on flightradar that AZ 77W EI-WLA flew FCO-AUH 3 weeks ago and hasn't flown since.
Did they remove it from service or is it there for maintenance ?
I found an article from January 2020 rumouring AZ might get rid of several A32X, 2 or 3 A330 and this 77W to cut costs.
UX has many domestic flights such as MAD-BCN or MAD-TFS using a widebody, I understand there's either a big touristic demand or cargo contract. But I was wondering about the reason why UX is using a widebody at least once a day on its MAD-AMS route (are the Netherlands such a popular destination fro...Jump to post
LEVEL development in France does not make sense, first their generic name that has nothing to with an airline… Openskies was at first business class only airline, then they moved to having Premium Y and Y but they were Premium oriented. They were never profitable it seems. They now operate long haul...Jump to post
I am trying to take this CORSAIR flight in July. How much would be a reasonable price to pay for "basic" (no checked luggage)? Right now, full service airlines are between $650 to $700! Times are great. Is Corsair a reliable airline? What is its reputation? How is its financial status? SS...Jump to post
In the past I flew twice on IB famous A340-600 MAD-LHR route, each time I had booked either ORY-LHR (BA doesn't fly to ORY) or LHR-CDG (IB doesn't fly to CDG). Now each time I try to book such routings on IB or BA website or even Expedia, I get an error message, or I am only offered the direct IB Ex...Jump to post
Seems like there's not a lot of love for EW...
What I wonder is if this article is accurate regarding the disappearance of EW long haul.
I'd love for someone familiar with the LH group to enlighten us.
From the article in this tweet, it seems that LH will terminate Low cost long haul by Eurowings and replace it with another brand. https://twitter.com/RunwayGirl/status/1209071590106906624?s=19 If true, I say good riddance of that brand! It's already been rumored in the spring that LH would take ove...Jump to post
But when you look at the first picture from Twitter that I posted at the beginning, there seems to be a thick light blue line that goes across the rudder part, like the body of the bird, the thin line going down the fuselage being the wing. In the photo you mention where there is a gap in the maski...Jump to post
One more thing I just noticed: if you closely examine the photo there is a sliver of unmasked area along the trailing edge of the rudder and another, smaller area roughly in the center of the tail where you can see the underlying paint color. I blurred the original image, increased the saturation, ...Jump to post
You can actually sort of see the titles below the white tape on that last photo. They certainly look large, and fairly plain typeface-wise. Not only can you discern the title, but with some basic photo manipulation you can clearly see two large "strokes" on the tail. They correspond to th...Jump to post
Looks nice but it would be even better if the yellow tone matched the one of the fuselage stripe and engines.Jump to post

He just said what the media wants to hear Wat he HAS to say these days Nothing more, nothing less My comment about yoga and vegan was meant to be sarcastic. I've read the article as far as my Dutch enabled me to. As I watch it carefully now, it seems it has already been fully painted but for some reason the tail and the logo have been covered with some kind of tape. Seems A3 will introduce a new livery on their first A320neo.

Looks a lot like Aer Lingus or Air Transat.
Light still be better than the current one which makes no sense with that red stripe, grey belly and white engines.
The fuselage part of the livery is based on Nordica or PLUNA with the tail logo demultiplied in smaller and in negative.Jump to post
Has anyone noticed that these two brand new 737-Max 9's have slightly altered letters on them, compared to the 737-800's? The position of the letters looks much better on the MAX's than on the 737-800. The 'I' is now exactly between two windows. Of course the MAX9 is a bigger bird than her older NG...Jump to post

Denali first flight should be about the same time period.
LX website states that due to the bankruptcy of JP, their LUG-ZRH will be operated by train in the future, especially with the opening of a tunnel.
I thought they'd be looking for a new airline to operate the route.
Wonder what will happen to this airport after the only scheduled flights are over.
Very nice... but where's the red? It desperately lacks a splash of red. SAS is ''the airline of Scandinavia'', and red isn't a characteristic Scandinavian colour. Sure, it's on the flags of a few of the countries around the region. But that's it. Whereas blue is, well, everything Scandinavian, and ...Jump to post
I REALLY like it! It's an improvement over the current livery with the "dirty white" fuselage and half painted engines. The grey on the fuselage has some gold in it it seems, also the engines seem to be the same metalic grey as the SAS title instead of the grey of the fuselage. Can't wait ...Jump to post
https://i.postimg.cc/mtVhGFWk/SAS-A350.jpg If this is indeed the new livery, then I like it! Hope SAS will be more readable than their current Scandinavian Airlines titles. Air France Hop fleet will soon only be constituted of E170 and E190 and CRJ700 and CRJ1000. Air France mainline would have A220-300 with 149 seats to replace the 319 and the 320. Our pilot did mention bad weather and slots on saturday, but it's not just that, some turnaround times are only 35 minutes, not a lot of margin.
What long haul aircrafts are missing and why ?
I Wonder if all pax are rerouted on LH, out of Paris that's the most logical option for connecting pax.
Hi, I just returned from Lugano via Zurich and was impacted by irrops on both ways. On saturday my flight was delayed by 1,5 hours and I missed my connection.
