Air France Hop fleet will soon only be constituted of E170 and E190 and CRJ700 and CRJ1000. Air France mainline would have A220-300 with 149 seats to replace the 319 and the 320. For the 321, the question remains. They don't need the range of the 320neo as stated in the article. For long haul aircra...Jump to post
Our pilot did mention bad weather and slots on saturday, but it's not just that, some turnaround times are only 35 minutes, not a lot of margin.
What long haul aircrafts are missing and why ?
I Wonder if all pax are rerouted on LH, out of Paris that's the most logical option for connecting pax.
Hi, I just returned from Lugano via Zurich and was impacted by irrops on both ways. On saturday my flight was delayed by 1,5 hours and I missed my connection. On sunday, flying back to CDG we were delayed by 1 hour, then the return flight to ZRH at 2:50PM was cancelled. (I guess it has to do with ou...Jump to post
Hopefully the link works.. First CR7 in the new livery.. https://www.instagram.com/p/By-wzcbhmEH/?igshid=a81s0vka4t9m Nice ! Really reminds me of Rising Blue. What surprises me is that the swoosh line seems to be in the darker rhapsody blue on the CR7 and not in United blue like the 737MAX we saw p...Jump to post
It's clearly not a generic PR picture. It has the star alliance logo and Scandinavian flags colors on the nose. We see the engine reflection on the nose too. As mentioned by someone else, there seems to be a S in orange/red on the engine. So from this picture I'd say: grey fuselage blue tail and blu...Jump to post
The article states they want people to read chair as an airline basically sells seats, their full name is actually chair Airlines.
I just think that's a generic name, but again for a leisure airline with many fly-once-a-year passengers it may work.
Germania Flug is now officially rebranded as ch air and a first aircraft was painted in their livery https://www.cockpit.aero/rubriken/detailseite/news/aus-germania-wird-chair-airlines/?no_cache=1 The livery is pretty nice for a leisure airline, but they should have written it CH air instead of ch a...Jump to post
I agree the livery looks better on the E175 than the 738. If you want to remain elegant with billboard titles, you only want a tail logo and a monochomatic fuselage like LX, AA or AY. But billboard titles+painted engine nacelles+cheatline+tail logo is wayyy too heavy, look at Frontier or Ryanair. So...Jump to post
Really surprising (and silly) that the livery is unchanged when this is an all new plane type for them, and they modified the fond and colour in all their branding.Jump to post
A market means a collection of people - for an airline there could be many different ways of dividing their business by markets. By market, I'm unsure whether you're referring to cities, countries, regions, continents, people etc... Take British Airways for example... In terms of cities: New York, ...Jump to post
Well from the figures by airline I'm more concerned by the loss at EW than OS. It seems they were never able to make money since they started. But I can't say I'm surprised, with their constantly changing strategy out of CGN, then DUS replacing LH, then MUC and FRA. Oh and add to that their poor rel...Jump to post
http://i63.tinypic.com/2m34vo3.jpg Ok..... 3.5 hours later. Here's the requests and a few more added in. Ignoring my sub-par photoshop skills, what do you think of the livery on these aircraft? Hope you all enjoy! *Images not to scale.* Thanks, that's really nice! I find the livery to look best on ...Jump to post
http://i68.tinypic.com/2d9b6ud.jpg There were requests to paint other aircraft in the new livery... so after about 2.5 hours and burning eyes from looking at the screen, here's a 757-200, A320, and CRJ-700 (Express) in the new livery. Hope you all enjoy! If anybody has any requests for an aircraft ...Jump to post

My final guess based off the 757 contest titles placement and tail sneak peak in the video... https://i.imgur.com/S7cubco.png Not seeing anything on the belly in the tail image though it's hard to tell. Can you add blue engines and the swoop? Quick job: https://i.imgur.com/XprZNDA.png I really like...Jump to post
Looking at the picture from the video I'm not so sure about a grey belly, there's no grey to be seen.
So maybe only a white and blue tail, blue engines, light blue swoop and larger titles.
From the latest video and posts we have:
Blue and white globe on the tail
Light blue swoop? But not usable on Airbus if it's the same as the dreamliner's
Saw the video.
They display a lot of aqua blue and purple and almost no blue.
But if they ditch dark blue from their livery, the all blue seats, airport signage etc etc will look out of place.
Check out this link to the official invitation: https://thepointsguy.com/news/united-livery-unveiling/ There are some design clues in the invitation that I think might make their way onto the plane, such at the background where it says “United. Brand. New.” It is the same pattern that appears on a ...Jump to post
The Star Wars livery has billboard titles, so will the Her art Here.
I guess the modified livery has to have billboard titles too...
When trying to guess when we'll see the new livery, I remembered the initial interview from Oscar who said the updated livery will be presented "april-ish". This is unusual, usually we have a more specific timeline. And with the GE powered 787-10 that's still to be certified and delivered ...Jump to post
I saw this picture today 5472105 Is this 77W for UA and could it be in the new livery? The blue on the tail loooks like UA's but the white pattern doesn't look like the globe. I attempted some more, this time using more of the colors from the palette, and taking into account that the livery will be an update or minor tweak. Hi, I was wondering about the evolution is nose shapes. First jets like Comet and Caravelle had a "cone shaped" nose. Then for decades most jets from 707 to 777, A300 to A340, Tu154 etc etc had a nose with an angled windshield (the exception being CRJ and E Jets). Lately we're back to &quo...Jump to post
Very nice looking fuselage, I'm not too bothered by the grey as other shade is somehow retro, same as AF A320. But the engines ruin the overall look, the BOAC titles are off center and more blue and white should have been used. Here the livery was just applied as on a 747-100 and not actually fitted...Jump to post
I am curious whether the 747 that will have the Negus livery will get "British airways" or just "British" titles. Since the 70s I have been puzzled by those 'British' titles. Does anyone know what the idea behind this was? Was this a later version of the Negus livery? At the tim...Jump to post
Can someone explain how BA can be a 100 years old (i.e older than KLM)? I know BA comes from merging BOAC and BEA in the 70s, but of all airlines that were first merged to create BOAC and BEA (like Imperial Airways or British Airways Ltd) none of them were founded in 1919. KLM has the major differe...Jump to post

If it weren't for the engines, they could face a lawsuit from Air Transat for copying their livery. The new font is nice, too bad the title isn't larger. What really bugs me is the heart-shamrock. It's ridiculous, I know they want passengers to think "Aer Lingus is cute and Aer Lingus loves me&...Jump to post
It's not too bad.
I still can't tell if the shade of green on the tail and the lower fuselage is different or not.
The same green would be better IMO.
However, the shamrock isn't as elegant as the previous one, and the heart shaped leaves are tacky-cute...
The net profit isn't published.
But as they leave all their planes, I don't think they have much financial expenses or exceptional result.
You'll find it In the Annual Report, page 89.
Operating Profit of 81M€ in 2017

Transavia is now profitable for the second year in a row I read in the annual report. Besides from ORY it is the second or third biggest operator and enjoys a good reputation (friendly crew and cheaper fares). Maybe they can use Transavia for Fortaleza or Seychelles which are clearly more O/D. On th...Jump to post
Hi all, I've been curious of the most represented pax nationalities (i.e most important markets) at different airlines.
