Re: Cleveland Aviation Thread - 2019

PHX also goes to less than daily, Saturday-Sunday only for January and February. I honestly don't know why United doesn't reenter this market. Or American... It seems like a no-brainer with slightly decreasing WN service and once daily on F9. There was to be a market for non-LCC on this route... bu...

Re: Cleveland Aviation Thread - 2019

Wonder where CLE ranks for F9 stations. Behind Den MCO and LAS but maybe that’s it?? Never thought there’d be a day where they fly mostly A321s and more destinations than UA (albeit not daily). If I’ve done this correctly, the order of Hubs/Focus cities by number of destinations for F9 is as follow...

Re: Cleveland Aviation Thread - 2019

^Some thoughts I had: It seems that IAG finds Aer Lingus performing much better than expected and also sees Dublin as a potential new hub for transatlantic traffic, possibly one that may be better suited to handling routes to midsize U.S. cities than LHR (it doesn't really have the space to do so). ...

Re: Cleveland Aviation Thread - 2019

Does EI have the equipment already for the route? And if they did launch the route, what's the earliest it could begin? Is Summer 2019 too ambitious? I think Summer 2019 is out of the question at this point, for the reason that EI's A321LR delivieries were delayed and they had to push back service ...

And there we have it. . . A scouting visit. I forget who made the comment above, but I agree with it. Whoever paid for those billboards was foolish, I’m sure Aer Lingus doesn’t want its route deliberations made public, and it’s not a good look. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2019/03/aer-lingus-scou...

The EI billboard on 237 came down as quick as it went up. Now it's just and advertisement to rent the billboard. That's pretty wild...and certainly not a mistake. I did take a look at EI this past month when planning a trip. They partner with UA on mileage redemption and BA/B6 on flights so it was a bit odd.
