If QF run the PER-JNB route again, would they be better timing the flights for AKL pax to get to JNB plus allowing PER pax to connect thru e.g. to CPT, rather than timing or PER pax to get to JFK?

I dont know what timings could work. Any ideas?

As a founding member of oneworld, I believe CX (and the others) can veto any new entrant? If this is the case, and CX depart, then it makes it easier for CZ (and potentially JX!) to join.

The bigger issue is EK. With Russian airspace closed and their partnerships with UA and AC, EK really can’t fully exploit the feed from UA/AC without more seats to India (otherwise they are letting UA/AC fly the longer part and just use EK’s precious seats for the hop to India).
