Re: United going after hidden-city travellers

Personally, I want to see someone take the airlines to court and settle this once and for all. Never going to happen... the downside for the airlines should they lose in court is multiple orders of magnitude more than any upside they may get from winning. So instead they'll throw a stink every once...

Re: Tel Aviv airport is in Europe?

Ashkenazi Jews make up the majority of the population of Isreal... No they don't. They're not even the majority of the Jewish population, let alone overall. You are absolutely incorrect a little over 70% of Israel's Jewish population are either first generation immigrants or second generation immig...

OPO-BOS or OPO-YYZ has to be the radar.

Re: First A321LR delivered to TAP

No grudge against TP in OPO, just their overall shit-show operation in general. Plenty of times, even in LIS, gates are empty and they just decide to bus people in for no good reason. "Shit-show" is an understatement. TP ground operations at LIS are atrocious. The entire staff nee...

Why is TP not using a jetbridge in OPO? It is not like OPO has capacity limitations, as LIS does. Are they really that cheap, or do they just not give a crap about their mobility-impaired passengers?

There are only a few (3?) non-Schengen jetway gates at OPO and they were all occupied.

Re: First A321LR delivered to TAP

I'll be on this airplane (CS-TXA) tomorrow in C - I'll post some photos from then. In other news, TP CEO announced today that their next "wishlist" destination is Beijing within a year or two. Hi guys - sorry for the delay and the crappy photos but here are some pics from CS-TXA OPO-EWR. ...

Re: AZUL Announces OPO

Does TP operate OPO-GRU on an OPO-based 332? My impression was always that they had one 332 based there for flights to EWR, GRU and GIG (2x weekly each I believe). With EWR now moving to to the 321 (and frequencies increased from 2x to 5x, which makes sense), I wonder what this means for the Brazil...
