The Nanny State claims another victim. That was one of the redeeming qualities about flying through ATL. If either of us were to make a product has dangerous and deadly to people and others has tobacco today we would be fined and in jail for life. It's been Proven they knowingly pushed and deceived...Jump to post
While not surprising, this is very disappointing as a smoker. It certainly is a point I think of when booking. The only ones I'm still aware of are FRA, IAD and SLC. While I get they are nasty, smoking areas past security provide a huge stress relief to those of us who do smoke, which is clearly fe...Jump to post
Honestly wish they would throw one of those retro schemes they put on that Q400 on the E170. Would look amazing. They should! That would look great. I personally would like to see an Air Oregon retro livery, since horizon absorbed their business into theirs itd be nice to commemorate the airlines t...Jump to post
Should have changed the name of it to "Hunter S. Thompson Int'l", instead, and changed the code to "HST".
Only half kidding. Still, great honor for an American hero.
IIRC they flew ATL-BIL for a couple of seasons as well. But I could be wrong ATL-FAT would be a perfect for this aircraft as well. So, too, as you point out, would ATL-OAK. It's pretty exciting really. Kind of a whole new frontier for Delta here. I would love to see FAT-ATL, but I think there are a...Jump to post
Would seem like the perfect aircraft to open ATL-BOI/GEG/BIL with. Yep. Something like ATL-FAT and making ATL-OAK finally stick around too. A plane like the A220 can open a lot of new markets. DL has done ATL-BOI before, but not the others you mention. IIRC they flew ATL-BIL for a couple of seasons...Jump to post
The Orlando statistical area consists of Orange County (Orlando), Osceola County (Kissimmee), Seminole County (Sanford) and Lake County. BIL is expanding their terminal as well, starting in 2020.

Looks like it was a great year all the way around for Montana airports.
Big things seem to be happening around BIL, I don't know if anyone saw this or not, and it may be worthy of its own thread, but the airport last week released final renderings of the terminal expansion project that will begin next year. It looks amazing. https://www.flybillings.com/DocumentCenter/V...Jump to post

Also, what is with GNV to ATL service? It's been on everything from a CR2 to a 739. It's just frequency really. The jets are different sizes to meet different periods of demand throughout the day. The mainline jet in the morning is always full, but it hits a big connection bank. I've been on it abo...Jump to post
Then how does F9, B6, and WN do well on sun destinations out of BUF? Most of the pax at BUF are from Toronto. I did this out of what is served from BUF and other cross border airports. I could see F9 doing these Canadian Routes easily, I'm guessing out of the routes F9 operates from cross border ai...Jump to post
Honestly I'd like to see them start DEN-BIL. Given how they've been re-opening old stations, I think it's a possibility. Something exceptionally random would be cool too...like DEN-GNV weekend service. But that's probably too crazy even for F9! GNV would absolutely win craziest route announcement. ...Jump to post

HU's 3 weekly SEA-PVG flight now continues on to CKG with same-plane/flight # service, not unlike MF's SEA-SZX-XMN flight. They've done the same at YYZ and ORD also. Seems like a more economically sensible and convenient way to connect secondary Chinese cities to the US. Not that we need additional...Jump to post
When was the last time a LH craft crashed with mass casualties?? The early 70s? Maybe she is paying homage to a lost brother/ husband? She kicks and spits and refuses to talk to anyone who approaches her while she screams gobbledygook at a plane landing. She's mentally ill and has some sort of delu...Jump to post

Buddhism is the official and state religion in Sri Lanka, like in Thailand. I believe Lankans are fierce defenders of Buddhism like the Thais. I'm surprised UL did this. The tension between their Buddhists and Muslims is more comparable to Myanmar. It's been pretty violent. It's a country that is m...Jump to post
Would be interesting to see if Scoot would go for a GUM-KIX or GUM-SIN route. Really seems like there should be more leisure airlines on GUM-Japan than just the Korean ones about to launch GUM-KIX. Of course GUM sort of feels like the faded carpet club anymore, so maybe the demand just isn't there.Jump to post
Billings (BIL) is getting what appears to be a full-terminal rebuild for around $45 million. https://billingsgazette.com/news/local/government-and-politics/airport-set-to-launch-its-four-year-million-terminal-construction/article_506e1552-a09b-538f-9055-f9a92798219f.html https://www.flybillings.com/...Jump to post
If WN were interested in serving somewhere in Montana, I would thing Billings would be the obvious choice, not Bozeman. Much larger market (Montana's only city of over 100,000) and close enough to Bozeman to capture that market anyway. I don't think they're interested in either, so all hypothetical...Jump to post
