Re: Dual jet bridge boarding

That has to be a tight space then if it is on the upper level. I always assumed passengers were directed downstairs from the secure hallway. But I haven't been on the G concourse in many years so maybe the space is bigger than I thought on the upper level. Yeah it’s on the other side of the wall fr...

Re: Dual jet bridge boarding

And even if an aircraft supports dual-jet bridge boarding, it doesn't necessarily mean both doors are used. I've noticed that at my home airport of SFO, only A340s, A380s, B747s, and B777s consistently use more than one jet bridge. Most A330, A350, and B787 flights board from the 2L door only (even...

DL MSP-ELP now? If they can't make SLC-ELP work there is no way MSP-ELP would make any sense. I can't imagine there is any market for El Paso to Canada or the upper Midwest. MSP is too far north for any other logical connections. Look at the HRL-MSP market. A vast majority of "snowbirds" ...

I'm curious as well. I think it's unfortunate that DL can't support more than the ATL flights out of ELP. I fly DL into ELP twice a year and I was looking forward to another option as far as the routing goes. I think they also tried MEM after the merger with NW, but that didn't last very long. DL M...

Does anyone have record of how many times DL has tried SLC-ELP? At first it was SLC-ABQ-ELP (with 727-200s) when they merged with WA in 1987. Its been off and on with a nonstop RJ ever since. I'm curious as well. I think it's unfortunate that DL can't support more than the ATL flights out of ELP. I...

For those of you looking for year-end numbers, while MSP Airport hasn't published a "year-end" file, if you look at 2018 December file, the YTD numbers should be all-inclusive. https://metroairports.org/Airport-Authority/Metropolitan-Airports-Commission/Administration/Publications/operati...

Thank you for the explanation, those are all good points. Somali VFR traffic to Kenya isn't going to attract a direct flight. Realistically, MSP might get something new from Canada with the upcoming Delta/Westjet joint venture but beyond that I'm not sure what else will show up. I think airlines will get a little conservative with new routes in 2019 with ...
