Re: AA Adding A321T Product to BOS

Good idea:
1) Builds premium feed to the LAX TPAC hub
2) Boston has a lot of yuppies
3) They occasionally send A321Ts on BOS-JFK, so the plane isn't entirely new to the airport

Re: Will DL Upgauge LGA-STL/MCI to the A220?

Recall that Delta has admitted that the only way they avoid paying tariffs on the A220 is by keeping average route length under 1000 nm. Wouldn't you know it, LGA-MCI is 962 nm... Could you please share a link about this? Curious to see details about that comment. Average route length means you can...

Re: The most important routes for different airlines

Malaysian is likely LHR-KUL. Aeromexico JFK-MEX (I've ridden 789s on the route). Air Canada YVR-YYZ?

Re: The most important routes for different airlines

Also, I'd put SFO-BOS and SFO-EWR over IAH-FRA for UA. I'm impressed at United's ability to fill 77Ws on both of these routes, in addition to the usual 757s.

Re: The most important routes for different airlines

I think the question is "which route, if it didn't exist, would cause the airline the most trouble?" That's a little different from "what route is most unique to the airline?" In my mind, that means that DL's 'most important' route shouldn't necessarily be MCO-ATL. While it is ob...

Re: Delta adds ATL-ONT

Why a 739 vs a 738 on this route? If low yields were an issue here when they ran it with a 757, I'm not sure why they'd start out with more capacity. Is this a part of the "beat WN by upgauging/lowering CASM" strategy they've been using with Wall Street? Does DL use 738s on transcons anym...
