QF could theoretically send their QFLink branded (Alliance) E190 to operate ADL-DRW-SIN complete with the 'D sticker system' for the domestic tag leg. But it's not to be, and assumedly/probably easier for QF(Link) to originate the SIN service in DRW.

QF's had multiple (failed) attempts at launching ORD ex Australia in the past. Fleet resources permitting in the medium term when the final 2 A380s return to service would be freeing up at least 2 789 units, which could be sent to ORD via AKL at 3 or 4 weekly initially.

Rumours I heard across the social media platforms (FB, Forums, etc) suggests MH is looking at the 737-8 MAX to reintroduce KUL-BNE, which is probably the 'right-sized' aircraft (smaller with more frequencies) against struggling x3 weekly with a widebody. Similar to PR's BNE-MNL with the A321neos.

I think a bigger priority should be getting SYD/MEL to double daily, allowing connections both ways with more key European ports, such as DUB. If you hear the interviews from their CEO and CCO, they say that connecting Australia to Europe is not a strategic priority for them. Not overly surprising....
