Im looking to go to WBMW as im a bit of a coaster nut but I want to know where to stay. There seems to be no hotels near it. Anyone been there from the UK (or anywhere else)for the weekend? Any advise would be welcome.

The first 747 under the bridge is a BA 747. BA dont fly 747s out of Gatwick so why are they putting one in just to go under it? Typical BA, anything for advertisement

The bridge will go from the north term over to the one forties stands. a massive structure, Sky TV are filming this to show on 'super structures' but thats what I heard

On sunday night the bridge makes the move to its final resting place. May 25th or 27th the first B747-400 goes underneth (to see if it fits) then its open next spring. This will change the Gatwick skyline forever

Not sure on that. The meeting I had today said the bridge will move 16th from Larkins Road (where it currently sits) to possition. The first 747-400 should be towed under the bridge around the 25th. If you want a 'grand piano' effect then buy a grand piano  Smile . Only Joking.
I have not seen much keyboards with a pedal but my yamaha has a good piano effect. You might want to try a Korg, Nord, Kawai or Roland but they are expensive.

I use to... Had 2 Technics SL1210's With a newmark mixer + thousands of pounds work of records. Then moved on to production with a Roland MC505, Roland JP8000 synth, Novation Bass Station etc....
