All transit is landside. I connect domestic to international at ORD (and vice versa) twice to.four times a year and never heard of airside transfers to T5 (at least not for United or Star Alliance flights). That airport is absolutely terrible for connections.

CRJ-200 by far. E-145 not great, but the 1-2 seating makes it way way better than the CRJ-200, the most cramped airplane in the world.
Other CRJ's have first class, which is fine.

As usual the media gets it wrong when it comes to aviation. Regarding Atlanta. The article states Delta doesn’t even serve Lisbon from Atlanta so how would TAP make it work. As someone else pointed out in another thread, the FAA is under the umbrella of the Department of Transportation, whose current secretary (Elaine Chao) has received several contributions from airline and aerospace industry lobbies and interest groups. Seems to me a clear case of regulatory capture.

St. Clair County is adding bus service from the Scott metrolink station to BLV. A couple years overdue in my opinion but great to see. Makes it more likely I would fly out of there. Newark is way more convenient if you are in Midtown or Downtown Manhattan. ~30 min on NJ Transit from Penn Station, or ~20 min on PATH+NJ Transity from WTC Public transit takes almost an hour to JFK (on the A train) Traffic is bad in either direction, maybe JFK gets a slight edge if you are taking a...

I find the endless talk about TATL flights from St. Louis very interesting. Sure alot of people fly go to London from St. Louis but obviously not a plane full a day. ^True! In my mind, the 145 and no business class *is* regional. I really like the E175 as well. I've only taken it to IAH, SFO, and to ORD a couple times (I feel that I have taken a lot of 145s to ORD as well - possible?)
