We flew out of CMH last week and that will probably be my last flight of 2020 unless things change drastically. Green and blue lots are still shut down and just red and the parking garage are open. We flew Southwest and those gates seemed decently busy. I am hoping I can get back in the air in 2021....

UA is adding seasonal CMH-RSW on the E175. Drove by Wilmington today. There is a legion of DL 767 parked there along with some smaller aircraft, usual ATI suspects, the Patriots 767, and an ANA 767. Lots of cargo too obviously. Has anyone been to ILN to see all of the parked planes? I've never been there, but I see they have a lot of Delta widebodies. I have no idea though if there is a good place to view them.

I was looking at flights to see how feasible it would be to get to MCO to see the SpaceX flight in May. At least as far as CMH AA is concerned it is entirely ERJs. Only two to DFW and DCA, JFK, LGA, PHX, and LAX look to to be gone.

Has anyone flown this week? I flew last week and my last flight to CMH from DTW was full. Most of my other flights were about 75%. Just curious to see if anyone had to venture out this week.

Anyone know the reason why OSU uses LCK for their football charters, but all other sports use CMH? Even the opponents come in through CMH same with Blue Jackets.

I took the SFO-CMH redeye last week and it was pretty full - probably only about 10-12 empty seats on the A320. It was nice to be able to not have to connect through EWR or ORD for once coming from the west.

Seems like the 737-900 would be a closer replacement. From what I see the MD-88 is at 149 seats and the closest is 737-900 and then A321.

CMH can probably support nonstop service to LAX on WN on at least a seasonal basis since (a) CMH doesn't currently have nonstop service to LAX on any LCC's or ULCC's whereas nearby markets such as CVG, CLE, DTW, IND, and PIT all have nonstop service to LAX on at least one LCC on at least a seasonal...

I feel like TATL is on the horizon for CMH, but it will probably be with Delta which I don't regularly fly. What I hope to see are fewer regional jets and more A319s or even A321s! For example, two flights to MIA each day are still on the ERJ-145 which is a bit small for such a long flight.
