Re: Updated: LATAM files for Bankruptcy

Banco de Investimentos Bradesco BBI published yesterday a report indicating that the most favorable scenario for the LATAM group, in the current context, would be to sell LATAM Brasil to Azul. Analysts, however, estimate that a merger of the two companies would be unlikely, due to divergent interes...

Re: Latam and Azul codeshare agreement in Brazil

I could be wrong but this could be the first step for AD to somehow acquire LATAM Brazil. Would of course face an uphill battle within Brazil's regulatory agencies but makes way too much sense for all players involved. Rumor is already spreading that Latam Brasil would be absorved into Azul. Latam ...

The UA IAH-GRU flight is daily on a 789. UA has managed to operate several daily US-EU flights despite both parties having their borders closed to each others citizens. I really hope that LATAM resumes its direct MIA-GIG service. I fly to Rio from Miami every 6 weeks and now the only remaining direct service is with AA. However, AA’s fares are more than double compared to LATAM’s service via GRU, AD via VCP or CM via PTY. DL via ATL is also expensive.
