Does TP operate OPO-GRU on an OPO-based 332? My impression was always that they had one 332 based there for flights to EWR, GRU and GIG (2x weekly each I believe). With EWR now moving to to the 321 (and frequencies increased from 2x to 5x, which makes sense), I wonder what this means for the Brazil...

TP's LIS-LAD is a daytime flight. It would fit a US connection perfectly. After all, IAH-LAD was flown nonstop for decades. DL flew ATL-LIS last summer on the 763, but cut it this year in favor of starting BOS-LIS on the 752. I agree that doesn't bode well for TP to serve ATL-LIS successfully. TAP has an extensive EURO network and given that their fares are usually less than most other carriers I have seen I wouldn't be surprised to see them make ATL work. Keep in mind that DL don't fly ATL-LIS evan though ATL has a much much much large US/Caribbean/SouthAm network when compared with TAP...

Does then 321LR have range to operate TP’s routes in South America (CCS, FOR, REC etc)? I’m not sure about CCS but the other ones can be operated by A321neoLR which is an aircraft that can expand the network in terms of frequencies, I mean, Natal and Belém can be daily operated by this aircraft. Just to let you know, two more A330-900NEO in service!
CS-TUC is operating LIS-GRU on TP83 while CS-TUD will do the night flight to GRU on TP87.
Today, the three daily flights from LIS to GRU are being operated by A330neo since the first flight of the day is already operating with CS-TUB!

TAP ended VCP from Lisbon when Azul started LIS-VCP. Since TAP doesn’t fly to VCP from OPO, I presume they are keeping OPO-GRU. TAP has almost 3 (!) daily flights from LIS to GRU. When there isn’t the third flight from Lisbon, there is a flight from OPO.

Does the A321NEO have the range to fly OPO-BOS-OPO? If so I could see TP flying the route 3x or 4x seasonally in addition to their LIS-BOS-LIS flights A321neoLR aircrafts will fly OPO-EWR 6 weekly so they are definitely able to fly OPO-BOS!
