Westbound BOS departures at FL240?

I’m on AS15 and we are cruising at FL240. B6833 that departed right before us it at FL240 and a couple others are as well.

Eastbound seems to be normal. Is there bad weather limiting our flight level, anyone know?

34,000 headed east?

I searched but didn’t see much, but on AS736 climb out above 20,000 was bumpy to our planned altitude of 33,000. We then climbed to 34,000 where it was smooth. The altitude is according to flightaware, but my understanding is going East should be odd flight altitudes. Are there rules for exceptions ...

I would think that DAL would be one unless it is for a charter or private flight. Just the one of the top of my head for busier airports. You could go with a lot of small airports to avoid Airbus as they are all on regional jets.
