That's a very interesting choice of words. Does NZ pay you to participate here?

Re: Coronavirus Aviation Related News & Discussion Thread - March 2020

The trouble on here is that many US based posters seem to think it is mass hysteria and I don't know why they are thinking that. One poster above cited DL offering cheap transatlantic fares as a temporary measure- the problem is we don't know how long temporary will last so furloughing staff may be ...

3 Red Lines: AC YVR-BNE/SYD/MEL

Well we went way off topic on the AC North American expansion thread I thought we'd open a new thread where people can postulate on AC's achievements and short comings in the South Pacific market. For example, does SYD perform the best?

Re: Air Asia X returning to Europe? May launch DMK-Prague

Low cost option? You can already fly to London/Paris/Rome (the biggest 3 that matter ex AU) for $1050 return on full service carriers. Sometimes even lower if via China. Travel agents aren't going to push Air Asia as the commission is 2-3% and only paid quarterly.

I can see airlines like QF, BA, LH, and AF flying the whale, but Malaysia? Never made much sense to me.

AF is on record saying in hindsight the purchase was a mistake and they wish they had never purchased them.

Re QF comments...
I can't see QF getting any additional 380's either.

Re: New Zealand Aviation Thread - January 2019

LH premium economy in my opinion depends on the aircraft - on A380 it is very comfortable. On A340 not so good. NZ remains in front of both LH and SQ for this product in my experience. In fact, I haven't experienced a better premium economy product -would like to try NH and BR but these days I am u...

Future JQ 787 routes: nothing multi-stop, nothing over 10 hours. SYD/MEL/BNE-DPS only in peak season.

Re: China Southern Network/Fleet/Going Global Discussion - 2019

Would more flights to BNE from CAN be on the horizon for CZ? BNE loads seem to be growing every month with great load factors (I do know this doesn’t mean profits and yields). You've answered your own question. Let's wait till after Chinese New Year and see how the loads go... I can tell you they a...
