https://imgur.com/gallery/am6i4TL The first 321LR for Jetblue has been spotted out of the paint shop with a new tail design “waives” as well! Note the 3LR door (found on CEO 321s) has been plugged as well. To be N2105J. There also seems to be a large block of windows plugged just starting at the le...Jump to post
Everyone seems to think its the new Mint TATL aircraft, but Im pretty sure it's just a standard regular Mint configuration. I wonder which Core seats they installed, hopefully the Meridian seats and Avant system. Its amazing that soon JB will have 6 different configurations for the A321 (Core ceo, M...Jump to post
"while you ramper dudes can instead buy an Xbox and football tickets". How elitist and condescending . They're paying for housing, will have medical care, and putting food on the table for their families. You embody the toxic culture at your carrier (I assume AA with your 'cactus" ca...Jump to post
But without the 2LR doors the operator will have great flexibility to determine the premium seating. Yet, they still put something (most likely a lavatory) in the same spot where it is now with a 2L/R door configured plane, so I'm curious as to what the layout is. If its all solo angled seats, perh...Jump to post
Since my question some how went sideways, let me rephrase... If United wants to inaugurate service to a foreign destination, are inflight interpreters required? Would they hire new bilingual FAs specific for that route while 5,500 other FAs are getting furloughed?Jump to post
How will they staff the SFO-BLR flights with speakers? Despite furloughing 5,500 FAs, will they be hiring a handful of new Kannada/Hindi FAs for this route? DH to SFO from other language bases?Jump to post

I'm probably crazy for thinking this... but AA pulling 50 seaters on flights to be replaced by B6 A320s... do you think the pilots, after giving up some scope on codes hares for this deal to happen... maybe also gave up scope on express flights? Could we possibly see B6 starting their own Jetblue Ex...Jump to post
The only real way to tell is by the #2 engine - you can see the opening and rear portion of the tail mounted engine is flaired a bit on the DC-10-40. Not sure if that what your question was asking. Otherwise, I believe it was really only engine performance and range. Somebody more technical definite...Jump to post
I would love for Amazon to start some B767 and 777F cargo flights into LGB and see the look on all those NIMBYs faces that didn't want FIS because that would bring in the "international jumbo jets."Jump to post
When does B6 have to legally surrender the slots? Can't they technically hold onto them until the last possible moment?Jump to post
On the other note, im curious to see what people think could've happened in a perfect case scenario if the LGB/B6 Saga actually worked out, keeping in mind restrictions and NIMBYs, but talking about a scenario where LGB reps would've given into B6 requests. The airport would have been rebuilt nd im...Jump to post
Invitation sent to all B6 LGB workgroups for a meeting tomorrow. Ominous feelings as the previous meetings with little notice were full of bad news. Not surprising, the lack of flights at LGB that B6 operated over the past few months speak loudly, especially since LGB is still technically a “focus ...Jump to post

These 1980s seatback screens on VS are pretty spectacular, offering 6 channels of recorded VHS content.
At least these JetBlue crewmembers will be offered opportunities to transfer to other cities. AO furloughs by station? So they'd potentially be bumping others out. B6 is downsizing. There are ZERO openings and certainly no priority transfers to anywhere. And they definitely don't bump anyone out of...Jump to post
So the DOT approved all of the new exemption requests from B6?!? Wowza... Will make things interesting as far as reworking the route map slightly. With stations like DEN, they added the tag on to ABQ I don't think they approved it yet, B6 is just requesting the exemptions. It's been granted by the ...Jump to post
I didn't know it was all F and J, cool fact.
Was it the same for JALs Big Ben Express? I flew the Hawaii Express as a child but don't recall anything out of the ordinary
Major schedule reductions for April not reflected in the OAG thread. JetBlue website showing LGB is left with: SEA - 5/wk PDX - 2/wk RNO - 3/wk SLC - 1 daily JFK - 1 daily SFO, SLC, RNO, AUS, BOS are not available in the search engine. Most of these cuts extend into May. LAX flights see major reduct...Jump to post
In this new age of social distancing, can the airlines just install middle seat blockers or DO NOT USE placards of some sort and still be FAA compliant rather than removing entire seat rows. A placard wouldn't suffice. AA blocked some middle seats on the 738 to bring the seat count down with fixed ...Jump to post
With these 4 A321’s, will they be all core or MINT, once they get the JetBlue interiors? And what tail design will they have? And what other B6 aircraft are scheduled for repaints? Thanks. These 4 A321s were intended to fly for at least a year with original TC interiors with minimum modifications. ...Jump to post
I'm disappointed with this AS/AA news as this makes any possibility of merging with Alaska nearly impossible. On the other hand, as this makes B6 even less relevant on the West Coast... I wonder if this backs B6 further into a corner and makes the possibility of being acquired by WN or UA even more ...Jump to post

This is probably an easy and quick way to get some brand recognition in Europe in the near term, leading up to their own flights across the Atlantic. Why B6 and not WN/NK/F9/G4? AA's operation at ATL actually isn't half bad. Lots of mainline and decent frequencies. In fact, I think ATL is probably AA's largest station that is a fortress hub of another airline. AA even has a satellite crew base in ATL. Flew AA LAX-ATL and the crew were all based in ATL, and 30+ years senior...Jump to post
