Re: Swiss Aviation Thread - 2020

Maybe but there were 8 flights a day pre Covid, for less than half an hour of flying that was a complete non sense ecologically...
Geneva has already a wide range of non stop European destination mainly by LX and EZS so I don't think there will be major drop in demand...

Re: Air France to launch domestic Business Class offering

Not really, it will take around 3 to 4 hour and cost you even more than taking the plane

Any ideas how they are going to use this extra capacity until the two new routes to IAD and KIX will be inaugrated in spring?

Hope they are going to refurbish the last A343!

Re: Swiss Aviation Thread - 2019

Seems like LX is now continuing the A340 retrofitting program for the last two ones. HB-JMA is now at HKG since 30 Oct. Wonder if they will finish in 2019. interesting that they went to HKG (probably HAECO) instead of DRS (EFW) where the initial three frames have been retrofitted. I don't think tha...

Well done, less than 4 years to achieve this milestone!
I wonder what is the current rate of building?

Re: Swiss Aviation Thread - 2019

I flew recently to JNB and the planned aircraft type has changed several times between A333 and A343.
However, I never received an email from LX

Re: Swiss Aviation Thread - 2019

Yeah A350 would be stunning with the LX livery but I'm not that much optimistic for that. Maybe in the distant future!
The 787 could also be a great aircraft for Lx.
We will see!

Re: How to find tail number from old flight?

And what about European flight.
I found the site planefinder, which is great but with quite a big number of flights that has been never recorded. Moreover you can't playback earlier than 2012 or something like that. Does someone has another way to found past flight data in Europe?
