I thought that the aircraft are maintained in "deep storage" (whatever that means), before it is pulled out and sent for rework. That's a big difference from just being on the flightline.

The only frame that went into rework before June 2023 and hasn't yet been delivered is the Air China LN688 frame which probably has to go through a lot more rework than the other frames. Once again, not how the process works. Just because the customer accepts it doesn't mean the FAA has accepted it. The FAA is a lot tougher to get them to accept it than the customer.
