Oh man. If the type is grounded that could be a problem for Baltic. They have 20 220s with more on order and only handful of the older 737 left. Could be an issue now for a lot of their longer flights

I do hope that Isavia try to figure out a way to get bridges and stairs that can safely handle weather conditions such as these. This is the third or fourth time this has happened this year. Big storm in Iceland now. Winds are around 45-50 knots. Passengers coming in from the European flights can't disembark the planes.

Icelandair have actually faced some issues in getting them to Toulouse. First the Irish and UK weren't sure about having them fly in their airspace. Then once that was sorted and they were ready to go the French requested the flightplans to be altered so they wouldn't fly over populated areas.

Icelandair not expecting them to fly again until next year. Dropping PDX for the winter schedule while increasing shorter Europe routes such as DUB, CPH and BRU

OK....so I'm flying again and feeling a bit silly. I got an SMS asking for 30 volounteers to check in their carry on bags, I only have a backpack that goes under the seat in front of me. But I'm having concerns if this could mean they are having issues with weight balancing.......

Came to me and talked about various things whenever it was getting a tad bit bumpy. A very nice distraction. They were very understanding about it as well.
