World Airways essentially purchased themselves when the company went private in a 2007 deal that combined ATA and World into a single holding company, Global Aero Logistics. In 2014 World finally collapsed unable to service the huge debt or secure new capital.

Edited to add: As someone noted on another site, this appears to be the last regularly scheduled passenger flight of any McDonnell Douglas aircraft in the United States. So really a pretty big deal. No love for the MD-95s then... Yeah, not the same. Made in Dallas, not Long Beach. Now that's settle...

6674 due to exit HKG to GUM on the 23rd. Due to park in ROW right away. Any idea what routing they are going to take to get the plane from GUM to ROW? If #2019’s route (currently UA2721) is any indicator, it may fly n/s. Not sure an empty 767 can do that though. That’s gotta be getting pretty tight...

MDW is open with no ATC services.

FAA Ground Delay Program active with a 6 aircraft per hour arrival rate.

WN will operate 4 arrivals and 4 departures per hour on 3/18/20.
