Re: Advice for blur on photographs!

The easiest thing to do is to start with the basics. I would take your rig and take some pictures of static subjects at different focal lengths and go from there. I would also check things like your focus point(s) and what your AF is set to. If you have another lens and or body you can swap things ...

Advice for blur on photographs!

Hi everyone! Recently I've noticed that I've been getting some blur on my photographs, and I'd like some advice on how I could prevent this? Im not overly experienced in photography, but I do know the basics. I have a Canon EOS80D and am using EFS 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II. Here are some examples of wh...

Re: DL retiring MD-80/90s quickly

A bunch flew normal flights or a bunch flew to SBD or BYH ? Looking at BYH there doesn’t seem to be any MD90 flights into there today so there must be revenue flights being flown still GRR-BUF-SRQ-IAH-ORF-PIT? and ATL (of course) saw MD90 service today. No BYH since Saturday, yeah. Add RDU, HSV and...

Re: DL retiring MD-80/90s quickly

You really should be making a plan - and I understand anxiety from flying NOW. DL has long said that MD-88s would be gone by the end of the year. I have no reason to believe they've changed their mind. I don't think ten MD-90s is a reasonable/economically sensible quantity to keep flying with a sep...

Re: DL retiring MD-80/90s quickly

DL 9964, MD88, registration N999DN, showing ATL- BHY. Looks like the last revenue flight had been DL 985 RDU - ATL on April 3. Looks like it had been scheduled (and flights cancelled) on April 3 ATL-PIT (DL 371) and ATL - OMA (DL 871). FLightrader24 does not show any future flights for this plane. ...

Re: DL retiring MD-80/90s quickly

N962DN (MD90) has just taken off from ATL, bound for IAH as DL2319. Should return back as DL54 at 11:30AM. N962DN is also showing a flight schedule until April 4th according to FR24. Maybe its not the end just yet :)

According to FR24 (https://twitter.com/flightradar24/status/1241869629796081664) they’re to bring foreign citizens home from Hawaii to the UK and Germany. Hope this helps :)

Re: Airport Photos in the wake of coronavirus impacts

I was at MAN earlier - plenty of Jet2, Thomas cook (although not coronavirus related), Flybe, Easyjet and Ryanair parked there (as well as the TUI 737max's). UA is also storing some aircraft at MCO: https://twitter.com/Rami1Perez/status/1241829406907252736

Re: DL retiring MD-80s quickly

There are definitely less, however there are MD90s scheduled on ATL-CLE (2x daily), ELP (2x daily), SRQ (3x daily), BDL (4x daily), IAH (6x daily), PHL (2x daily) and BUF (4x daily) throughout April - although these are the only ones i can find :o I have a ATL-PWM segment booked in mid-May and as o...

Re: DL retiring MD-80s quickly

DL posted their latest April schedule internally today and there are zero M90 flights on the schedule. M88 service appears to continue throughout the month from ATL to BDL, BNA, CMH, DAB, GRR, IND, LIT, MCI, MEM, OMA, ORF, PHL, PIT, RDU, RIC, SAT, SRQ, and STL. It’s the end of the MD-90, at least f...

Re: DL retiring MD-80s quickly

This is very sad - I will sorely miss this fleet. If the aircraft heading to BHM/BYH do not return to service, it will be another sad loss for the industry. I have made a graph showing how the retirement of these a/c has been going over time, since July 2017 - https://ibb.co/L9mtPvB - which assumes ...

Re: DL retiring MD-80s quickly

I'm presuming that DL is scheduling the retirement of some -88s for the 31st August 2020? Having a quick look at ATL-MEM shows almost all -88 on 31/8 but all B738 on 1/9 The OAG this week has moved the change over schedule MEM-ATL to October 1 (subject to change any week). They are showing 4 MD90 R...
