Meanwhile, it appears that UA's NRT-CEB service was slightly delayed due to issues with the FAA. Nothing to do with CEB itself but more with the airline.

Speaking of PR's A321neos, there's one that's been parked and covered without engines by Lufthansa Technik, apparently since way back in 2020. Why haven't they put it back into operation yet? The route's launch was placed in doubt after UA complained to the DOT that they should get approval for a second daily GUM-MNL before PR could launch SEA; it appears to be moot now since they received approval for SEA-MNL last year. The A330-800 has been an abject failure. It's been years already and has had very very few orders. Most of the airlines that had interest already switched to the 787 or A350. Basically, don't expect to see Thai's A380s ever flying for the airline ever again? And with how they were stored outside in a tropical environment for four years, it is unlikely they will ever fly with anyone ever again, and despite having less than 10 years of service each are sure to be scrapped ...
