One has to wonder, what has made Boeing think that not giving these names to NTSB is the better choice? Is NTSB interviewing these people really scary for Boeing management, maybe they don't want them whistleblowing etc?

Air Berlin had over 100 planes I believe at time of ceasing operations, I remember reading the bidding processes for their planes (I believe Easyjet got a few of their Airbuses).

UA CEO just meant that the -10 wont be in their fleet planning for the next couple of years and worded it in a way to make Boeing sweat, just to indicate they're unhappy with Boeing. He didn't say "We are looking to cancel the -10MAX order" quite the opposite.

ULCC airlines PAX will always choose the cheapest fares, being in an alliance together would mean they'd all have to either charge the very same, or a run to the bottom in terms of fares. The headache would be huge

Maybe it's rarer in the US but I have seen quite a few 737NGs without winglets in Europe. A few Jet2's 738s don't have them and turkish have a few I think.
