I have to agree releasing the image is not the smartest thing to do, other nations may very well able to assess KH-11's capabilities, but nothing is better at verifying those assessments with an actual image taken by the bird.

Well if ISRO can identify the lander via thermal image that means it didn't just crash from 2km altitude, maybe the lander executed all its program and successfully landed, only that no one knows because the entire communication suite went offline. Am I being too optimistic?

What did the J-7 family and JF-17 ever do to you? Haha, nothing, but J-7 is not PGM capable, and JF-17 is not in Chinese service. It doesn't serve Turkey's interest to completely switch sides, countries with strategic geographical locations tend to play both sides and juggle favoritism from both superpowers. India will be similar, while they are reproaching the US they will never burn their bridge with Russia.

With the IIRGC now being designated as a terrorist organization by the State Department I wonder if allied military can legally intercept the aircraft in international air space. If they find anything on board with ties to IIRGC they can shut down this avenue of transportation pretty easily.
