    I can’t speak for the Airbus, however on the E190 at Jetblue, the way SOP’s are written, unless the aircraft is shut down the XPDR is always on. The only thing that changes is the mode of operation depending on phase of taxi/flight. It never goes in STBY/OFF. Not sure why that is but that is Jetblue...

    It boggles my mind that the most comfortable aircraft I've ever been on is the E170/190 series aircraft with good seat pitch and a generous 18.5in. The C-series should also follow with its wide middle seat at 19in wide. Trust me I'm a big guy and those 17in seats are bearable for about 1-2 hrs max.....
