I have an Allegiant MD-80 tag from PlaneTags. It's nice, but I do sometimes worry that I'll drop it and chip the paint or something. It's an expensive hobby, for sure.

B752 Engine Options?

I have 2 questions about the 752 and its engine options (P&W or RR). First, an aesthetic question: Which engine option do you think looks better? (IMO the RRs)
And second, a technical question: Which engine option was more efficient, and which gave better performance (regardless of efficiency)?

Yeah, it should work, although I doubt any checklist allowed it. Either of the #2 bleed switches opened the APU Bleed Valve, so APU air would be there for the #3 engine starter. In the C-5, we’d close the cross-ship manifold, start the left side with the left APU and run the right pack off the righ...

I believe that airlines should require and enforce mask use. Not only mask use, but CORRECT mask use. It drives me absolutely INSANE when people don't cover their nose and mouth. Just like WN1380, where the pax were not wearing the O2 masks over the nose AND mouth, if we wear a face mask correctly, ...

I have that same question! I'm looking to build a model airport, but at $30-$50 a model, it goes out of budget pretty quickly, especially with models that are in high demand. I wish it was cheaper, so model companies, (NG, Gemini, etc) if you're listening, please make prices reasonable. I would buy ...

I figured they would make it public on the MD88 today, was already heading to retirement well before plan. Considering only 9 active MD90s and 27 MD90s, hard to believe the 90s would make it to summer anyway. To shed 250 more aircraft after they already parked all the A320s, and 50% of the 717s tha...

The Boeing 757. Hideous design. Long and skinny fuselage sat atop a set of long, spindly landing-gear legs. And then the horrendous fuselage design, with 2 different fuselage diameters ahead and aft of the wing. Always thought the wings look weird too, although the later addition of winglets helped...
