A UA 767 at DFW?

So, me and my mom went to go pick up my uncle at the airport, and while ride by, I saw a United 767 and wondered, what's this doing here? Is its a one off flight? Or Charter? Does anyone know?

Re: Hobbies outside of aviation

Choir (I'm a Baritone), watching T.V., Playing on my PS4, surfing the web (i.e. Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, Airliners.net,Youtube,Etc), listening to music and hanging out friends. those things, along with Aviation, make me happy :D I was in Men's Chorus during my high school career, also a baritone...

Re: Future of DFW (future routes, future airlines Etc)

Yeah, there have been any number of Texas-based topics posted here. No disrespect to those that reside in the Lone Star State but I just do not understand why you all believe that every international airline must serve Dallas, Houston or Austin. Again, nothing against Texas but it hardly seems to b...

My sister is a big fan. I can't stand them, just like I can't stand most of Western pop music.

a lot of my girl friends (not the dating kind) say that's why they love K-pop and are very protective about it.

Re: Your experience on now defunct carriers

What were some of your experiences on defunct airlines? What are your opinions on the ones you’ve flown, and if people look at it through rose colored glasses too much. I flew on Continental when I was far too young to remember. When I asked my mother about what it was like, she told me it was “ave...

Re: Future of DFW (future routes, future airlines Etc)

I think you could see BNE-DFW with QF on their 789 however from MEL there would be payload restrictions on the return from DFW. This would perhaps be a project sunrise route - thoughts ? I would think the A380 would stay on DFW as any spare 789 capacity on QF would be used for new routes not alread...

Re: Future of DFW (future routes, future airlines Etc)

DFW could attract some AA alliance partners like Cathay Pacific and more Qantas. AA has done an excellent job of filling the DFW route map, the only Asian destinations which could make sense are Taipei & Singapore. South America is well covered. Europe will always be the number one continent se...

Re: Future of DFW (future routes, future airlines Etc)

If QF/AA launch new nonstop service to BNE and MEL via BNE in addition to the SYD route, That probably spells the end of A380 flights to DFW . They'll be a pair of Dreamliners instead. It would be sad to see it go as the QF A380 is the one of big highlights of DFW planespotting. it reminds me of BA...

Re: Future of DFW (future routes, future airlines Etc)

Not gonna lie... I feel like we get this thread at least twice a year... here we go. DFW-HEL/MAN/TPE/PTY/BCN/KIX/AKL/MEL/BNE/BOM On, I don't know? Finnair, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Cathay Pacific? More Qantas/Australian routes since the JV just got approved today. hm, CX is piggyback riding AA's DFW-HKG...

Re: RUMOR: American to order A321LR

I think it's a good decision for AA to get the A321LR but IMO it depends on the hub. A321LR is good for hubs like MIA, DFW, JFK, CLT, and PHL. MIA and DFW because they are both prime LATAM gateways for AA as they can be used for either more capacity for current routes or new routes with low demand t...

Will Texas ever become a blue state?

as the mid terms told us, Texas almost a elected a democrat in the senate in Beto O'Rourke but Cruz still manage to beat him, but only by a hair though. with a lot Californians moving to Texas due to the high taxes there, as well as more jobs in Texas, this got me thinking, will Texas ever become a ...

What was the America West experience like before the merger with US Airways? (Now AA)

Saw a video from Navgeek Aviation about America West, and I wonder: was the AW experience like? Was it good?, Was it bad? Was it on the level of Emirates? Or Spirit?
