ANA would have to make sure the Vladivostok flights connect well onto their North America and south east Asia flights from Narita (btw Vladivostok has a US consulate)

The e-visa for Vladivostok is only issued to nationals of 18 countries, but perhaps this will change in the near future. A month ago a similar policy started for Kaliningrad, and it's open to nationals of 53 countries. Looks like they are threading slowly, testing the ground. I think sometime next ...

Actually heard that Saint Petersburg-New York is a really big unserved market market, LED can get direct east Asia (Seoul shanghai Beijing Chengdu Xian

Can’t believe that there are 8 Chinese airlines (CZ, MU, CA,HU, 3U, tianjin airlines, Lucky Air and beijing capital airlines ) flying to Moscow this summer and even 2 (CZ and MU) to Saint Petersburg but no US airlines flying to Russia from the United States.

They definitely didn’t do that for no reason It's been on that page since November 2014, perhaps longer as archive.org hasn't saved a copy before then . CX cancelled Moscow on June 1 2015 , it's been in every snapshot I've had the enthusiasm to look at after that date. that page is a bit of a mess ...

I'm not sure about this, but if Vienna is a Tier 1 City, then they don't have the frequencies to fly directly from CAN.
